Katie is the founder of Massop House, a full service interior design studio, based in Des Moines, Iowa.

She began her career as a CPA at a Big Four accounting firm before transitioning to a fast growing tech start-up company. There, Katie managed and grew a team of analysts responsible for the performance of $100M+ in ad spend from leading travel brands across the globe. She became an expert at balancing budget constraints while exceeding client goals.    
 
During this time, Katie launched an online interior decor shoppe as a side hustle and began immersing herself in the design industry. 
 
Mom of four & native Texan, Katie moved around the country for several years with her husband and growing family, as her husband pursued his medical training. Designing several homes and spaces along the way, she honed her timeless and elevated aesthetic.

Katie and her family settled in a historic, 1915 home in Des Moines, Iowa, where she cemented her love of old homes and founded her studio.
